Life at the Cantina

Having thought herself lucky about getting a job in the cantina as a server, I thought some interesting options might cross my path. Then after never seeing the dancer, I got promoted....some promotion...I guess it takes more than a scantly clad dancer to get people in the cantina.

The best part of my job right now is listening to a robot speak poetry. I wonder when some action will come into my life?

To go back underground

She could not silence them, they were becoming increasingly more persistent and for now the only thing she could do was go back underground. She watched from the shadows for a while, heart breaking at some of the things she saw, with other things she could not help but smile. Julius had his companion now, and Vel was no longer needed. Flux, was getting deeper and deeper into things that he never wanted to explain to her. She was of little use and so she would follow the voices into the darkness and hide out once more.

The things you need...

Time's beginning to run out, money is running out and patience was almost gone. A trifecta of insoluble anxiousness grips at the very heart of my being. Though I play it cool to the world around, inside, I know that a decision will have to be made sooner than later. Each day I feign the empathy others look for within me, putting something in its place to prevent them from seeing right through. The effort of forcing a smile out to those around seems like a chore in and of itself.

Running

The sound of her feet reverberated across the pavement her gown billowing around her ankles and her hair trailing like an ebony veil behind her left tattered and unkempt to be grasped and pulled by the wind. Her eyes looked around frantically searching for the answer that was there in the shadows, the answer that would save her and keep her safe from the darkness that threatened to envelope her. She skidded to a stop, she could feel the sting of the asphalt on her bare skin. Why was she without her shoes, running through the streets of the yard like a lost animal?

The Frustrated Muse

" Why are you such a fool, obviously you're in danger, or we would not even be telling you to hide and run. " Vel would smirk as she shook her head slowly, her eyes gazing over the water watching the small waves ripple and dance. "Wrong, you would if only to cause me grief. I am happy now and you just want to drive me insane!"

She spun around walking along the road with her hands behind her back. Flux had been cryptic and who was the blue man that seemed to be following him everywhere. No matter what she did she could not get the answers out of him that she felt she needed, and the fact he would only talk to Julius about it made her even more frustrated. All in all she guessed it made sense, he was CSF and maybe he was gaining trust for Julius, that in itself was a good thing.
