To go back underground

She could not silence them, they were becoming increasingly more persistent and for now the only thing she could do was go back underground. She watched from the shadows for a while, heart breaking at some of the things she saw, with other things she could not help but smile. Julius had his companion now, and Vel was no longer needed. Flux, was getting deeper and deeper into things that he never wanted to explain to her. She was of little use and so she would follow the voices into the darkness and hide out once more.

Running

The sound of her feet reverberated across the pavement her gown billowing around her ankles and her hair trailing like an ebony veil behind her left tattered and unkempt to be grasped and pulled by the wind. Her eyes looked around frantically searching for the answer that was there in the shadows, the answer that would save her and keep her safe from the darkness that threatened to envelope her. She skidded to a stop, she could feel the sting of the asphalt on her bare skin. Why was she without her shoes, running through the streets of the yard like a lost animal?

The Frustrated Muse

" Why are you such a fool, obviously you're in danger, or we would not even be telling you to hide and run. " Vel would smirk as she shook her head slowly, her eyes gazing over the water watching the small waves ripple and dance. "Wrong, you would if only to cause me grief. I am happy now and you just want to drive me insane!"

She spun around walking along the road with her hands behind her back. Flux had been cryptic and who was the blue man that seemed to be following him everywhere. No matter what she did she could not get the answers out of him that she felt she needed, and the fact he would only talk to Julius about it made her even more frustrated. All in all she guessed it made sense, he was CSF and maybe he was gaining trust for Julius, that in itself was a good thing.

The musings of fate

He had taken it better than she expected, her dear Julius, she figured if it had been anyone but her that told him all hell would break loose. But maybe that was just her imagining that it would be that way. He was going after the Merc though with a vengeance when it was believe he was not telling him the whole truth. She let out a sigh as she sat at road's end and looked out on the waters. There was still more to tell him about the event, but he had gotten called away by his job again, so it would have to wait.

An Eventful night

It had started out lovely, Vel had made her way out of the little hidey hole that she called home and headed to the Cantina. the night was actually nice tonight, stars glittered in the velvet expanse like tiny jewels, the sight of beauty in this drab monochrome place caused her to stop and look up. Vel mused for a time letting her mind shift to simpler moments, like the night before when Julius had spoke to her so sweetly. The voices had not turned on him, her visions were clear when it concerned him, maybe just maybe she was going to be allowed a companion now.
